Order of the Day

The celebration will take place at the DeKalb Historic Courthouse and will unfold as follows.

Ceremony at 11:00 am

Guests are invited to arrive beginning at 11:00 am, with the ceremony beginning promptly at 11:30 am and following a traditional Anglican order of service in the Old Courtroom.

Cocktail Hour at 12:00 pm

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments accompanied by live harp music in the Courthouse Lobby. This portion of the celebration will take place immediately after the ceremony.

High Tea Reception at 1:00 pm

Guests will be seated for an English-style high tea reception in the Old Courtroom, with a selection of savories, sweets, and tea service. Toasts and cake cutting will take place during the reception.

Dancing and Celebration at 2:00 pm

Dancing and socializing will follow the tea service in the Old Courtroom and continue through the afternoon. A farewell will take place at approximately 3:30 pm.
